To let increase the health benefits of spinach, avoid freezing it. The best way to use it is consume it fresh the very day you buy it. Cooking spinach increase the nutrition three times the raw spinach. Because the nutrients in raw spinach cannot be easily broken down in our body. Oxalic Acid in spinach blocks the iron and calcium from getting absorbed in our bodies. Drinks Remedies



For Healthy Skin:
2 Peeled Cucumber
Lemon Juice from 1 lemon squeezed out
1/2 inch ginger piece crushed
Blend all ingredients well until they become one. Mix it in half glass of water. Save it and consume as needed.

Flat Belly Infused Water
6 cups Filtered Water
1 Tbsp Grated Ginger
1 Cucumber, Sliced
1/3 cup Mint Leaves
Let the mixture infused overnight. Drink it the next day.

To Stabilize Blood Sugar Level:
1 Green Apple
1 Bitter Gourd
1/2 Cucumber
1/2 Lemon
1 Celery Branches
Blend all ingredients well until they become one. Save it and consume as needed.

Milk



Milk is an essential for bones. It contains Vitamin A & B, Calcium, Carbohydrates, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Zinc, Protein and Riboflavin. If you have no time left for breakfast, just one glass of fresh milk will keep you satisfied for 5 to 6 hours. Milk is best when it has been milked out and its value decreases by the passage of time thereafter. Freshly milked, it is less cold and more humid in nature. Milk is quite better 40 days after the animal has given birth. Best type of milk is most white in color, has good scent, delicious taste, mildly sweet, with less fat and light consistency, taken from young healthy animal.

Although milk seems a simple food item, It is equipped with three major substances: Cheese, Fats and Water.

Excessive drinking of milk also can cause sight impairment, gout, kidney clogs, stomach and intestines swelling. All these effects can be avoided and neutralized by using milk with honey and dry ginger. So everyone can enjoy milk regularly and benefit from the endless bounties in it.

Fish



Fish are of many kinds but the best quality is the most delicious, best scented, moderate in size, having fine scales and softest (not dry) meat, which lives in fresh water that flows on pebbles, and eat plants, not organic wastes. The best areas for such fish to be found are in freshest water hiding within rocks and sandy places, void of filth and waste, places with frequent waves and exposed to sun and wind.

Sea fish is delicious and easy to digest. Fresh water fish is cold and wet in food nature. It's difficult to digest, and produces phlegm, but river and pond fishes are exempted  from this, as they produce acceptable temperament, freshens the body, increase semen production and fertility, and suit hot conditions.

In salted fish, the best is the most recently salted. Salted fish is hot and dry in nature. The older it gets, the hotter and drier it becomes. Siluridae (similar to catfish) is very viscous. If taken fresh, it softens the stomach. When it is salted, kept for a few days before consumption, it clears the windpipe and makes the voice finer. If it is ground and used as external ointment, it will extract the wastes accumulated inside the body.

Sitting in the salty water left behind silurid, relieves the patient of intestinal ulcer and extracts the harmful substance to the skin surface. It also relieves sciatic nerve ailment, when injected.

The best part of fish meat is closer to its tail, and the soft and fatty fish meat produces freshness and flesh to the body.


Dates


Dates are rich in several Vitamins, minerals and fiber. It contains oil, calcium, sulfur, Iron, potassium, phosphorus, manganese, copper, sodium, copper, zinc and magnesium. It is easy to digest. Amber date is very large in size and one is enough for this purpose. Californian dates are twice the size of amber. The date from Medina is of dark color and contain more Vitamins than any other. This fruit has endless types. Even for sugar patients, there is a particular type called Sukri with naturally less sweet. Mabroom is a juicy date suitable for young people, because it is needed to chew properly. Ajwa date is also less sweet in taste, and can be taken by diabetics. Moreover, Ajwa is best for heart diseases.

Take 3 to 7 dates (depending upon the capacity of person and the size of dates) and remove their seed. Dip them in milk (preferably goat milk) overnight. Shake them in the morning. You can add cardamom powder or honey for taste and aroma. Cardamom is normally used to balance the hot nature of date fruit. Use this shake lukewarm in winters and cold in summers. It serves as a useful tonic in increasing sexual endurance and reducing sterility caused by sexual disorders. Dates are great natural aphrodisiac as well.


Basil (Tulsi/ Niazbo)


Tulsi or Niazbo, also called Basil, its botanical name Ocimum Tenuiflorum, is used for many culinary and medicinal purposes. It is also referred to as Raihan. It has strong aroma and astringent taste. It is consumed in different forms, i.e. herbal tea, dried powder, fresh leaves, raw form as a juice, or sometimes mixed with ghee.
  • Tea of 1/2 teaspoon of dried or fresh leaves in water can help soothe indigestion and alleviate feeling of fullness. 
  • Effective for stings and bites. Chew a few leaves and apply over the area and it'll help relieve pain and draw out the venom.

Banana



Banana is hot and wet food in nature. The best quality banana is ripe and sweet, with quite black spots over its peel. Figs


Figs are the best source of fiber. It is recommended to chew figs quite well. Its seeds contain oil that is of significant benefit, specially for cure of constipation and piles. It contains Calcium, Manganese, Potassium, Copper, Magnesium, and Vitamin K, being the one and only fruit in the world to be the richest source of vitamins, either fresh or dry. Best quantity in a day is 2-3 pieces of medium size a day. They are hot food in nature, but not hot enough to harm the body.

Oats Porridge and Talbinah


How to make Oats Porridge/ Daliya:

For 100 gm of oats you'll take 1 or 1 and a 1/2 litre of water. Mix it and put it in stove. To avoid the porridge from boiling out of the pan, do not close the lid during cooking. After one boil, keep the burner low.
If you are a bit taste conscious, first roast the oats lightly in a pan without any grease. It should be to an extent that you can smell the whiff of roasted oats but do not let its color change. Meanwhile keep the water to boil, beforehand. Add the hot water to roasted grains and then cook as above. (Tip to Remember: Never ever add cold water or cold milk in oats.)
The indication of cooked oats is that when they have completely sucked the water, you'll see bubbles appearing in the porridge.

Recipe for Talbinah
To make this particular dish, you'll follow the above instructions as it is for oats porridge until we reach where we have left above i.e. when it gets completely ready. Add boiled (not cold) milk and cook it for 5 to 7 min. When you see bubbles appearing in it again, it is ready. Add one teaspoon honey in the bowl when it is served.

Oats


From headache to cancer, for every possible ailment, oats porridge is the best food cum medicine. Oat has high fiber content and that of excellent quality. It decreases cholesterol and heart fats (that cause heart blockages). It has cardio-protective mechanism. Ladies at menopause stage should add oat porridge/ talbina as their meal 6 days a week. It makes this physically and psychologically difficult period so calm and cool that no medicine can provide you with. For those who suffer from acidity or ulcer, oat is a bliss!
36000 ladies in UK were made a part of research about oats. They were given oats and fruits to eat in their diet. It not only provided protection in their bodies against breast cancer, but the patients of breast cancer also recovered.
A point to be noted is always to take oats lukewarm, in order to let it properly detoxify our body. Taking it cold will not only hurdle its pure benefits from reaching you but also may aggravate cough or flu, because oats is a cold food in its nature.

Researches prove that husk of any grain when mixed with milk and eaten, does not let calcium to absorb in our bodies. So how can you expect the ready-made packaged cereal grains to provide you with all the benefits above? A little effort in acquiring original oats and making their porridge or talbinah will make your life so much easier and healthier.

Nigella seeds/ Kalonji


Kalonji, that is the seeds of Nigella sativa, are also known as black seeds, black cumin, black caraway and roman coriander. These are the best anti bacterial medicine present in the world.

If you want these benefits in your olive diet, prefer the olive with seeds. Green olives are better than black olives. Not so green that gives an impression of unripened olive, instead camel color is perfect! Perfectly ripe olive reaches camel color.

Best quality carrot is neither too small or thin, nor too big; It is medium sized. It is strong enough to crack, not flexible, instead breaks in two if you try to bend it. It is straight, not crooked. It is quite juicy and red in color. It does not have much hair on it. Its skin is shiny and smooth otherwise it's not fresh. If your carrot is contrary to what is explained above, or not fresh, you'll not find the below-mentioned minerals and vitamins in it.

    Pomegranates


    Pomegranate is that valuable fruit that prevents estrogen from increasing in our body. Estrogen is the hormone that causes cancer, especially breast cancer. If your family has a cancer history, you should be using a lot of pomegranate. In prostrate cancer, daily a pomegranate is very helpful; not a cure but helpful indeed in healing! It is advised to eat pomegranate seeds with its white pulp, because it cleanse the stomach. It is very beneficial for skin; freshens it and mitigate the skin marks, facial acne and pimples.  Pomegranate and grapes are specially recommended for skin pigmentation.

    Sweet Pomegranates are hot and wet in nature.

    The best quality of raisins is the one with big size, fat in its pulp, with thin skin and small seeds. Raisins in nature are found to be hot and wet in first degree, and their seeds are cold and dry. It is said that their seeds are an ailment while their pulp is the cure.

    Raisins are usually similar to the type of grape from which they are made of.  Sweet raisin pulp is more nutritious than grape. Contrary to sweet raisins (hot nature), the sour raisins are cold and mildly constipating. White raisins are even better constipating agent.

    Watermelon


    The nature of this fruit as a food is cold and wet. So in summers, this fruit keeps the moisture/ hydration of our body balanced. It is 92% of water. But for a body that is naturally cold in nature, it is better to use watermelon along with some ginger or dates to offset the potential harm and acquire its benefits.

    Using honey with water is also very beneficial. Take one portion honey and three portion water, and add this to surma (preferably athmad surma).
